[Serious] SG lady really behaved differently around ...
I always thought that edmw was joking about how SG lady behaved differently and acted demure around their amdk bf until i caught sight of a real actual setting
It took place inside a cafe , the SG lady with thick make up was supposedly with her amdk boyfriend whom she bought along for a meeting with her 3 other girlfriends. They chatted and spend about a few hours in the cafe, as this is a seemingly small cafe, i would really hear their conversation loud and clear given the small distance gap between us. The lady who bought her AMDK boyfriend along was clearly smug and proud of it as this was a sign of 'trophy' to show off to the pack. She started questioning about the love life of her other girlfriend such as the type of guy they're into or whether they are currently single or attached..blah blah.
When she try to speak, she make it a point to slang and pronounce each word like the american english, as if she wanted to cut off her singlish completely, not the kind of normal english u would converse with your good pal in everyday life. One would even tell that it really pretentious and acted out of norm. it is almost impossible to cut off singlish given the nature of our lifestyle and languages but one would tell that she is really trying to impress her amdk boyfriend. Pretty sure that due to the influence by her , her 3 other female friend follow suit. In the end, the whole table start to converse in perfect "american english" , it was pretty lol to be frank.
Each time they will behave intimately and lovely around each other where the amdk will either cuddle around her waist or that she will leans towards his shoulder like a xiao niu ren. The amdk start by telling his adventurous life story where the pack seem to be impressed , they giggled and nodded in agreement. They then talked about their rebellious teenager life where the sg lady complement her amdk bf , she said "look u still turn out to be a young fine man , full of morale value and responsibility" , pretty sure she was smiling with a grin upon her face when she said that , i would hear her laughter within the distance.
