[US]Perris man, 63, charged with distributing child porn A 63-year-old Perris man was charged Feb. 8 by a federal grand jury with advertising, distributing, and possession child pornography.
Jerry Glen Moran, 63, was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations agents after a "large collection of illicit images" were found on his home computer, as well as "evidence that he was engaged in online trading of child pornography," according to a a U.S. Attorney's Office news release. Prior to Moran's arraignment Thursday, investigators found that Moran was using a "foreign photo-sharing website" commonly used by child pornographers to "meet and trade child pornography," the news release said. Moran reportedly advertised his collection of child porn to others, according to the news release. If found guilty of all charges, Moran faces a minimum prison sentence of 25 years and a maximum of 90 years. |
