Lets start with male first. I think we have yet to fully understand why man has external testicles. Yes, we know testes function best at lower than body temp. BUt how does the body knows that it will function better?
Move to female body. The vagina is acidic and is hostile to sperm. Sperm usually cannot survive for more than 1-2hrs under those condition. However, during ovulation, the PH of the vagina changes to make it sperm friendly. How does the body knows that sperm needs higher PH To survive? It even knows the PH range.
Also egg already knows what chemicals to release to attract sperm and sperm already knows how to react to these chemicals.
Yes, no doubt the body knows all these through genes. ITs past down generation to generation. But how about back to the beginning? When we dont have the genes yet? I don't feel evolution is the explaination. This is something we have to get it right the first time. IF you can't reproduce, you will die and your species become extinct. Unless we start off with a large population, chances are we will probably be extinct instead.
So, I am thinking there may be a creator that has done all these in the beginning to make life possible on earth. Create the first version of humans with all the necessary genes and then we can reproduce on our own. The genes will also refine itself over time (thats where evolution comes in).
