Save and Invest Portfolio Series: 77 yrs of collective Exp in coming up with excuses Following my previous thread (What did the Save and Invest Portfolio Series taught us?) on how the team of experts flip prata on their failed investment decision, they published yet another laughable article to defend themselves.
This can't be more obvious from the sub-heading: Simulated portfolios ... deliver far better returns than deposit. And in the article, it goes on to compare it with fixed deposit rate. Anyone with basic exposure to investment will probably be scratching their head The article then move on to the next line of defense: Criticizing the benchmark they have chosen themselves. They claim that it is not readily investible (and something about gold which i have no idea what they are trying to say). if the benchmark is not investible, why choose it in the first place? why have they been comparing it for the past 10+ articles in the series? Why didnt they also mention that it is not possible to have a panel of experts to tailor make a portfolio commission free? __________________ |
