[PUBLIC NOTICE]Suggestion for New Pay system for Ministers & MPs! I got a lagi solid idea for Minister / MP salaries and it might just work.
For MP salary. Base salary is $15,000 / month as per current. However, the final salary depends on the percentage of vote they receive in their GRC/SMC election. For example, If PAP win 60% of seats in AMK grc, all the MPs in AMK GRC will get 60% of base salary which is $9,000 / month. The budgeted 40% of MP salaries will go to government reserves to boost our reserves. For Minister salary, base salary should be $500,000 or pegged to average C-level salaries of top 100 publicly listed companies in Singapore multiply by the percentage of vote they receive in GRC/SMC as above. Prime Minister base should be $750,000 and subject to same ruling. The GDP performance bonus should be removed as pegging salary to GDP will make government focus only on increasing GDP instead of caring about the people. __________________ |
