Like for example when telling a Chinese friend about my parents: "I'm extremely proud of them (I pronounce 'dem' like in 'demostrate')." When to an AMDK/AMDL: "I'm extremely proud of them (I pronounce as 'em' more towards 'um' sound)." Sent from my toaster oven using GAGT...Do you find yourself faking an accent when talking to AMDK/AMDL? I'm GUILTY.
