If our ancestors were Africans...then why don't we look like Africans ?

If our ancestors were Africans...then why don't we look like Africans ? Doesn't make any sense to me.
Let's say our ancestors were Africans. Some Africans walked for a long distance. Then they settled in Europe, and become white ? They settled in Asia, and become yellow ? etc ? Is it really like that ? So, let's say you migrate to UK, you live there, your children and grandchildren will gradually become whiter and whiter ? |
